The device connects the lift controller with a RJ45, RS232 or USB cable or by the CAN bus. It is at the same time a auto dialer for the rescue call of a person which pushes the button in the lift cabin. It is a robust 2G/3G/4G router with WIFI and GPRS connectivity and has been specially conceived for the lift maintenance. It contains a battery which maintains the remote control of the lift in case of power supply breakdown.

Service description

The service provides remote maintenance of the lift which includes Telemetry and Remote Control connecting directly to the lift controller. The management service is available on a web interface and on the smart phone of the lift maintainer.

Since the router is connected to the lift controller it is possible to retrieve the information from the lift like the floors and doors movement, indication of the lift direction, fire alarm, overload and any error code. It is compatible with the most common lift manufacturers of the market like for Otis, Kone, Thyssen and Orona.

The Remote Control makes it possible to access the console of the lift and manage it from the distance. The console is visible on the screen of your computer or your smart phone. One can virtually use the different functions and buttons of the console and manage the lift without being physically next to the lift.

Machine Learning with the data of the lift makes it possible to provide predictive maintenance. One can know in advance the possible problems of the lift and act in advance to avoid interruption of service.

Due to its features one can say that the GSM Smart Router is like a small powerful computer in the lift.

The GSR Gateway is also driven by a powerful LINUX operating systems which can be modified according to the requirements of the end-customer. This is an open system.

It also contains a battery of Lithium in case of power supply breakdown in order to be able to place a call for a person trapped in the lift even though the power supply has stopped the lift.
